Living on the side of a volcano in Panama, this has motivated me to compile a resource for observing and evaluating the local seismic behavior.  This example features a map having custom layers. There are basemaps with integrated seafloor bathymetry, tectonic boundaries, volcanoes and earthquakes, and more. Here is a demo:

OpendTect6 and Chrome Remote Desktop on Linux

I found a snag with Chrome Remote Desktop after upgrading to OpendTect 6 under Debian-based linux- Ubuntu and Mint to be specific. I found that launching OpendTect was producing a segmentation fault before anything else.
